Michael Schuckman
Director – Cybersecurity
Michael Schuckman, Director of Cybersecurity, is responsible for the strategy, sales and services related to Micro Strategies’ security practice. Prior to this role, Michael led Micro Strategies’ data & analytics practice. Started in 2012, the practice quickly grew to +$18M in sales by focusing on targeted, high-value solutions that rapidly demonstrate ROI. In 2015 IBM named Micro Strategies as the World Wide PureData for Analytics (Netezza) Business Partner of the Year.
Michael has held numerous other positions within Micro Strategies. He was the Business Analytics Optimization (BAO) Software Practice Leader, responsible for the sales and revenue associated with visualization solutions, data integration software, database, data warehouse and master data management. Before leading the BAO group, he managed client relationships at all levels of the customer organization and developed solutions leveraging IBM, Microsoft and Micro Strategies infrastructure services.
Prior to joining Micro Strategies, Michael worked at IBM as a Power sales specialist and was also a worldwide productivity and innovation manager for IBM Global Financing. Before IBM, he held several management positions at a global, boutique management consulting organization focusing on the design and implementation of management control systems to optimize cost, quality and service levels.
Michael holds a B.S. in Marketing from Pennsylvania State University and has completed MBA coursework at New York University’s Stern College of Business.
