Q&A
What is an important lesson you learned during your career?
Collaboration is key to success. Building a cohesive team—one that includes unique perspectives and expertise—is essential for tackling complex projects and major initiatives like the ones our customers undertake. I believe in seeking out those multiple viewpoints and working together to achieve excellence.
Name an accomplishment or milestone in your career of which you’re proud.
In an earlier role, I was part of a team that built an identity and access management (IAM) solution from the ground up. Over four years, we created a robust solution that addressed our clients’ critical security, successfully onboarded many customers, and grew the team to 30 professionals. The most rewarding part? Our monthly recurring revenue increased by 500% year over year—a testament to the solution’s effectiveness and market demand. Our efforts caught the attention of IBM, who acquired our solution, integrating it into their portfolio. To this day, it remains a component of their offerings, safeguarding organizations worldwide.
What’s your favorite part of the culture at Micro Strategies?
There are a couple of things that really stand out for me when it comes to Micro Strategies. First, it’s the people. There’s a wealth of knowledge and diverse experiences within our team. I find myself constantly learning from team members and gaining insights that help me grow professionally.
I also get to wear multiple hats in my role. Sometimes I’m the customer advocate, other times the problem solver, and occasionally the strategic thinker. Interacting with our customers in these ways allows me to add value to the relationship—whether it’s understanding their pain points, suggesting innovative solutions, or simply being there to support them, these multifaceted roles keep me engaged and fulfilled.
What do you like to do in your personal time?
I like to spend time with my wife, kids, and grandson. I also enjoy working on house projects, watching sports, fishing and golfing.
