Biography
As the Senior Director of Marketing at Micro Strategies, Avery Quayle oversees brand communications for the company’s diverse portfolio. Her responsibilities encompass brand development, digital and partner marketing, social media, event planning, corporate communications, PR, advertising, and market research. Avery and her team focus on strategies that enhance brand reputation, boost awareness, spur demand, and drive revenue growth.
With over 20 years of experience, Avery excels in crafting effective marketing and communication strategies for technology and professional services businesses. She specializes in creating compelling brand stories aligned with business goals. Avery is recognized for her ability to build internal marketing functions, having established internal marketing departments and her ability to lead strategic shifts in the go-to-market strategies of existing departments to align with the modern buyer’s journey throughout her career. Her career has been marked by a progressive set of responsibilities at technology and professional services organizations such as Dun & Bradstreet, J.H. Cohn, WilkinGuttenplan and Activu.
A past recipient of the Marketing Achievement Award from the Association of Accounting Marketing, Avery holds an MBA in Marketing from DeSales University and bachelor’s degrees in Sociology and English, with a minor in Writing, from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
Beyond her professional life, Avery actively contributes to her community. She is the vice chair of a local community foundation and serves on the local Board of Education. She has also previously served as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA), and in officer roles for her local recreation commission, and fire department ladies’ auxiliary.
